The Dos and Don’ts
Coarse Lake Rules
- No one to enter the lakeside without signing in first
- Only coarse fishing rods & poles allowed (no telescopic rods/poles, sea rods/poles, boat rods/poles or pike rods/poles)
- Barbless hooks only (no micro barbs)
- Unhooking mats must always be used
- Stonebridge landing nets MUST only be used. Please bring your own pole/handle as we do not supply these
- Maximum hook size 12
- Maximum strength reel line 10lbs
- No line is to be direct to the hook. You must have a leader/trace on (lead core leaders ok up to a maximum of 10lbs)
- No fixed ledgers/method feeders allowed (must be free running only)
- No floating baits allowed
- No cat/dog meat
- No braid
- Only two rods to be used at any time
- No fish to be removed from the venue
- No night fishing allowed
- No keepnets except for pre-arranged matches
- Fishing from designated pegs only
- No rods to be left unattended at any time
- All litter to be taken away
- Every angler must have a valid E.A Licence
- Dogs must be kept on leads at all times
Information
Our coarse lake has 40 pegs and is stocked with carp in the 20lb plus, ide to 6lb plus, chub to 8lb plus, barbell to 5lb plus and mixed sizes of skimmers and perch.
