Stonebridge Fly Fishing

Nunthorpe Fly Tiers Annual Event

Nunthorpe Fly Tiers annual club event at Stonebridge saw 38 mixed trout landed.  The winner was Peter Dawson from Middlesbrough with 8 trout and second was Dave Sanders from Ormesby with 7 trout landed on black buzzer.  Stonebridge history was made by John Heward from Billing, who landed the first ever tiger trout to be stocked at Stonebridge, placing John in our Hall of Fame!  The tiger trout was landed on a black fritz zonker.

 
Thanks for another action packed day at Stonebridge. We caught over 30 fish, with the winner having caught 8. I myself had a very memorable day catching a Tiger trout, which was a first for me, and was the first any of our group had seen at any venue.
